jabuti makes software: e / com, kitlab and jem. We're a small business in Melbourne, Australia. This page explains what personal information we collect through jabuti.dev and our products, what we do with it, and how to reach us about it. We handle it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- When you get in touch. Your name, email, and anything you add, such as your brand, website and message.
- When you use our products as a client. Your account details (name, email, sign-in and security settings), your business and billing details, and what you set up in your admin.
- When you design in a kitlab designer on a store. Your design, any images you upload to it, and order details the store passes to us, such as names, numbers and sizes for a team. We hold these for that store, which decides how they're used.
- When you browse. Our hosting keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser and pages requested, to keep the site running and secure. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
To reply to you, provide and support our products, process orders and billing, keep accounts secure, and improve what we make. We don't sell personal information, and we only email you about things you've asked about or products you use.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run our products for us: website and file hosting (Cloudflare), our servers and database (Render, Neon), email delivery (Resend, Titan) and web fonts (Google Fonts). Some of them store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We also share it if the law requires us to.
Keeping it safe
Information is encrypted in transit, admin sign-ins use two-factor authentication for our staff, and access is limited to the people who need it. We keep information for as long as we need it for the reasons above, then delete it.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. If you designed on a store's kitlab designer, you can also ask that store. If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, tell us and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
